Many people joked and called for Christmas to be brought forward this year—understandably. Within this jest there's a very real craving for happiness, stability, and normality at the end of a year of uncertainty.
Whatever this Christmas and 2021 may bring we can remember the birth of our precious saviour Jesus. When Jesus was born, the angel announced freedom for those who trust in Him. While uncertainty can breed fear, God can give us power and love and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
May your Christmas remind of you of the news (aka tidings) of Jesus' birth, bringing freedom to those who trust in Him, comfort and joy and ultimately the hope for all humanity.
