We hire the Lyons Church of Christ building on Sunday afternoons. Look for the grey concrete building on the corner of Launceston Street and Melrose Drive, Lyons.

Car: Parking available on site. Enter carpark via Marrawah Street.

Bus: Routes R4 (every 15 minutes on Sundays) and R5 (every 30 minutes on Sundays) will take you directly to us - alight on Melrose Drive near Phillip Pool. Alternatively, catch any bus to Woden interchange and we are a ten minute walk away.

Why did we move?

We have loved our time at the Salvos’ building in Swinger Hill and we cherish our memories there, however we reached capacity at that venue.

We want to make sure we have plenty of room to grow for the adults, and our steady increase of little people means we need more dedicated spaces for our kids to have fun and stay safe.

Why Lyons?

The Lyons Corner is a fantastic location in the heart of Woden, one of the major hubs in Canberra with easy access from the north and south. It is an area where people both live, work, play and gather. It is easy to find and easy to get to, and with this visibility comes amazing opportunity to be a light in the community.

The building itself is owned by Lyons Church of Christ and their congregation still meets there on Sunday mornings. They are generous with their space and hire out their building to several churches, and we are so thankful that we can be one of them!

New start time: 3.30pm

The new venue means new set-up processes, so we are changing out start time to 3.30pm. There will be basic tea and coffee available in the foyer from around 3.15pm for those who want to get there a bit early to chat, but we will not do a full afternoon tea.
