Southern Cross Kids’ Camps

Southern Cross Kids’ Camps host camps to give at-risk children the best week of their year. Redhill Church is supporting the first Canberra camp coming up in July 2026!

There will be lots of ways to be involved, including planning and admin beforehand, or at the camp either with the kids or behind the scenes.

To find out more visit Southern Cross Kids Camps or talk to Sal.

Karis & Noom: Thailand

Noom and Karis live in a village in northern Thailand. Their ministries include a soccer coaching program, supporting at-risk young people, assisting vulnerable new mothers as well as raising three of their own kids and providing daily care and support for several more.

We receive updates from Karis and Noom several times a year with prayer points and any specific support needs. As a church we also send financial support.

Mercy Link Education Sponsorships: Philippines

Redhillers Gary and Narelle spent several years in the Philippines working on a range of projects, including the Mercy Link Philippines Education Sponsorships Program. Now back in Canberra, Narelle and Gary continue to support the program by coordinating and promoting sponsorships from Australians. For around $150 per year you can provide funds for a young person in the Philippines to attend school. Find out more here.

Missionheart are a local church who love and serve many disadvantaged people in Canberra. Led by Jason and Kelly Hayduck (pictured) and team, they run a drop-in space in Civic, a Sunday gathering in Glebe Park and a range of programs and initiatives to support people both spiritually and physically. They have bought and renovated a house just outside of Canberra called Missionhouse - a home of healing. More on Missionhouse here.
