Sunday venues

Our regular venue in Lyons is closed for several months due to storm damage, so we will be meeting in alternate locations from February 2026

Current Sunday location - Autumn 2026

St Peter’s Anglican Church building, 1 Watling Place, Weston (opposite Cooleman Court).

About the St Peter’s venue

Getting there:

Car: Parking available on site, in surrounding streets, and across the road at Cooleman Court.

Bus: The Cooleman Court bus interchange is right outside the church building. Route R7 will take you from the city to Cooleman Court. Otherwise, look for any other bus routes that take you to Cooleman Court and the church will be a one-minute walk away.Parking

Accessibility and safety

• The building has a ramp to the main entry, as well as flat entry from the side gate, and then is flat inside.

• The outside area is fenced with multiple exit/entry points (if you have a “runner”, let us know and we can show you the potential exit points).

Kid facilities

There is an enclosed outdoor area, as well as a hall separate to the main church building for kids church activities.

Regular Sunday location

Our Sunday gatherings are at the Lyons Corner: corner of Launceston Street and Melrose Drive, in the Lyons Church of Christ building.

Sometimes we meet in other locations - e.g. parks. If so will advertise on social media and our home page.

Look for the grey concrete building on the corner of Launceston Street and Melrose Drive, Lyons.

Car: Parking available on site. Enter carpark via Marrawah Street.

Bus: Routes R4 (every 15 minutes on Sundays) and R5 (every 30 minutes on Sundays) will take you directly to us - alight on Melrose Drive near Phillip Pool. Alternatively, catch any bus to Woden interchange and we are a ten minute walk away.

About the Lyons venue

Parking

Carpark available on site. Enter via Marrawah Street.

Accessibility

The building has ramp access and then is flat inside. There is an accessible bathroom. Park on the Launceston Street side (south side) of the carpark for easiest access to ramp. If you have any specific accessibility requirements please feel free to contact us.

Kid facilities

We have two rooms for kids and an open area outside for supervised play. There is a microwave, fridge and change table.
